Glider Mission : JASON 04-2010

Recovery of the shallow Slocum Glider "MAYA" after two weeks at sea between Mallorca and the Spanish mainland taking temperature and salinity measurements. The JASON missions aim to synoptically take measurements below the JASON-1 satellite altimetry track.

During this recovery, two new deep Slocum Gliders, WILLY and WILLY-2 were deployed for test missions.
